Progrés 49

Architecture strives to bestow quality upon new inhabitable spaces.

Situated in a plot at the top of Sant Antoni de Portmany’s urban area, PROGRÉS 49 is a residential building that introduces green spaces and nature as tools for fostering interaction with the density of the surrounding area.

A game of volumes is suggested to break with the hermetic nature of traditional solutions. This allows for bringing green spaces inside and increasing visual range, all of which is achieved through the quest for the corner condition.

This dialogue between the interior and the exterior is carried out by sifting light – seeking lighting of increased wealth and texture.

The materiality of the building is based on natural ingredients such as lime, steel and ceramic.
